The bestselling author and creator of the hit Netflix drama The Stranger explores the dangers of obsession in this #1 New York Times bestselling masterpiece of modern suspense.

Six years have passed since Jake Fisher watched Natalie, the love of his life, marry another man. Six years of hiding a broken heart by throwing himself into his career as a college professor. Six years of keeping his promise to leave Natalie alone, and six years of tortured dreams of her life with her new husband, Todd.

But six years haven’t come close to extinguishing his feelings, and when Jake comes across Todd’s obituary, he can’t keep himself away from the funeral. There he gets the glimpse of Todd’s wife he’s hoping for...but she is not Natalie.

As Jake searches for the truth, his picture-perfect memories of Natalie begin to unravel. Mutual friends of the couple either can’t be found, or don’t remember Jake. No one has seen Natalie in years. And soon, Jake’s search for the woman who broke his heart puts his very life at risk as he uncovers the secrets and lies that love can hide....

Great book

Some fluff in the beginning. Book could of been shorter but a great read .

kaykaybean13

Exciting and captivates the reader from the start

Enjoyed the book and the unraveling of the story. Many twists and turns that were surprising and overall was a great read!

Cute gamesss

Great book

Kept me reading finished in two days

Buddybuddy86

Great!

A thrilling ride and a surprisingly romantic story.

CynthiaDorrego

Totally hooked

This book has been the best thriller I’ve read in a while. I simply could not put it down. I found myself always wanting to keep reading, and I found it a little funny as well! Highly recommend!

Kali0312

Amazing plot

I love this author and his natural gift to carve out relatable, yet distinct characters. Loved how intricate the plot was and how you had just enough clues to keep you guessing without growing frustrated or bored. I definitely recommend this book!!!

Long Dull Read

Too much commenting on the ordinary. Made the book tedious.

Simple Mystery

Six Years

Very fun to read. Captures you to keep reading but not overly complex or too heady. Really enjoyed it.

"6 Years" by Harlan Coben

Fast read with lots of surprises that kept me on the edge of my seat! A bit schmaltzy and predictable ending, but overall thoroughly enjoyed this book!

Syalalabelle28

Just plain

When i purchased this, i have high expectation based on the review and praises given by readers, however, after finished reading it (half scheming the book), i think the book was just simply plain and bad. The twist is not really a twist. Readable but not impressive.

Great book. Very suspenseful and hard to put down

Ohyeahfun

Slow at first but great after that

I am a huge Harlan Coben fan but it had been awhile since I read another one of his books. The story line was great but it took far too long to get into the meat if the story. Normally for me, HC holds me from the first page to the last. This one not so much. It wasn't until the last half before it became a real page turner. I did enjoy it but not as much as earlier works by HC.

ash_s18

Wow

What a page turner! You will not be able to put this book down.

seymourdequeen

Stupid book...

I usually can't wait to get my hands on Coben's next book, but this was just pitiful! Hardly better than a bad bodice-ripper...I'm embarrassed to say I read it to the end. Don't waste your money!

sacooper

A good read

This was a page turner. Not major literature but something to sink your teeth into all the same and I thoroughly enjoyed the fiction.

LocoMichael

Very good

This was one of his best for me. Can't wait for his next book.

Chobbs8485

Meh..

The main character spends about 80% of the book going on and on about how Natalie is just the most amazing, incredible love of his life. It got boring at times and I would skim through. It has some okay plot twists but the main character just isn't a believable character and he's almost stalker-ish in his love for this girl he had a summer romance with 6 years prior. Move on with your life man!

Steph802

More of the same

A couple of times I thought I was reading the book for a second time- way too similar to other books.

flapidot

Real, compelling, twisting, and turning! Great!

Highly recommend.

Six Years a Winner

It has been a long time since I read a book that I found hard to put down. Six Weeks held my interest from beginning to end. When a book takes me only 2 days to read, it is clearly a winner!

Pickle_4182

Perfect book for me

For being a 20 year old who is obsessed with Lifetime Movie Network, I was right away drawn in by the title and the price. I thought this book was great and kept me interested the whole time. I actually read the whole thing in one day! My first book I've read by this author and I will definitely be reading more! Very talented.

Malina71

Not a very good read.

Way too corny - a wanna be romance novel. Save your time and your money.

Mconne

Six Years

I've read a number of Harlan Coben's books and although not my favorite author I have generally enjoyed them. This book however, was pretty bad. I have never witnessed such a wussified protagonist in anything I've ever read. I finished it because it was kind of like not wanting to see yet wanting to see a traffic accident. I'll give him another try down the road. With his track record the next one can't be this bad.

LibbyRN1

Dull

The narrator's voice did not match the character. The character - for an ex-bouncer - was lacking a backbone. This was a story line with great potential but flopped in intrigue.

tiffanik@ble

Phenomenal Read

I really could not put this book down. It held my attention from start to finish. If you crave a mystery you must read this!

ERNOBATYAM

LOVED

Having never read any of Harlan Coben's books, I was recommended this book as a must read. I loved its twists and turns, even though at times it got a little too wordy. He is an excellent writer who paints his characters so true to life that by the time you finish reading, you feel like you know each one. I highly urge people to read this book!!!!

S Wynn

Romantic mystery thriller gone wrong

This is my first and last time reading from this author. The first few chapters started off intriguing enough, but then it went downhill from there. I found myself skipping chapters and skimming the book (which I never do!) I just wanted it to end and felt cheated at the end. None of the chapters felt related and I find it hard to believe how the main character can pine for someone for six years after dating them for three measly months. With the end of every chapter, the plot got even more confusing. I know it's a mystery, but there were times where I lost track of what the hell was going on. Jake was obsessive and annoying!

Not Myron This time but Great!

I downloaded this book, and never put it down. It is a page burner. One of those books that a rainy day or sunny day on the beach is perfect for. I cannot put down a Harlan Coben novel, just can't do it. Not Myron Bolitar, but a great book. Thank you again for the good Story!

The writing is great as always, the only downside is the expensive price for an e-book.

Silly and unbelievable plot. Repetitious. The MC, his friend, and the dept. secretary were somewhat interesting characters, but the plot was so sappy moony lost love, the whole thing was totally off-putting. This became my waiting room book, for when I was so desperately bored I would read anything.

Enjoyed the book and the unraveling of the story. Many twists and turns that were surprising and overall was a great read!

A good read

This was a page turner. Not major literature but something to sink your teeth into all the same and I thoroughly enjoyed the fiction.

Too much commenting on the ordinary. Made the book tedious.

Way too corny - a wanna be romance novel. Save your time and your money.

Silly and unbelievable plot. Repetitious. Normally for me, HC holds me from the first page to the last. This one not so much. It wasn't until the last half before it became a real page turner. I did enjoy it but not as much as earlier works by HC.

Wow

What a page turner! You will not be able to put this book down.

Stupid book...

I usually can't wait to get my hands on Coben's next book, but this was just pitiful! Hardly better than a bad bodice-ripper...I'm embarrassed to say I read it to the end. Don't waste your money!

Six Years - easy read

It's a good story, likeable hero, hard to put down. I read it in 3 days and enjoyed it.

Six Years

Great read, page turner.

Weak plot.

Not a very good read.

Back 2 square 1

You have got to be kidding....

Way too corny - a wanna be romance novel. Save your time and your money.

Amazing! Each book is better than the last! Hate when it ends! Keeps you guessing... You're almost always wrong! Great read!

Slow

Good read but slower than his otherstuff

Matt1859

Interesting

An interesting story. Idea is good even if the execution is a little slow.

Thomas Jenkins

One too many

Harlan has gone to his trick bag one too many times. The wrap up is far too fabricated. Find a new vehicle big guy.

Wait sixty years

I wish I had not bothered to download this poorly written, badly conceived, and inconceivable book. Don' waste your time.

Maija7

Not Myron This time but Great!

I downloaded this book, and never put it down. It is a page burner. One of those books that a rainy day or sunny day on the beach is perfect for. I cannot put down a Harlan Coben novel, just can't do it. Not Myron Bolitar, but a great book. Thank you again for the good Story!

cntorbus

Meh

Decent plot, horrible writing.

MJ845

Another great book

The writing is great as always, the only downside is the expensive price for an e-book.

Six Years

Silly and unbelievable plot. Repetitious. The MC, his friend, and the dept. secretary were somewhat interesting characters, but the plot was so sappy moony lost love, the whole thing was totally off-putting. This became my waiting room book, for when I was so desperately bored I would read anything.

Feral cats

Six Years

Filled with suspense and twists, Six Years, harks back to Coben's earlier books that encompass a real life situation. Professor Fisher is a larger than life superman but at the same time a lovable character. Overall, a good read!

Pure garbage.

Six bad years

I have been a Coben fan forma long time. I have read all his books. This is the first one I did not enjoy one bit. I dont know why he wrote it. It is truly awful and boring. What happened Harlan?

Yowzawowza

Six Years

Coben phoned this one in.

Six Years

I was very fed up with the supposed "hero" of this lackluster story. Get over yourself! Melodrama is the right description. Skip it.

Katieashmore

Great read!

Keeps you interested, has a few great twists, and I was happy with the ending.

Great book! You don't come across mysteries this well written often these days. Cerebral yet intuitive. I loved it.

Not this one!

Six Years

Seriously??!! Was this Harlan Coben or Danielle Steele? MELODRAMA deluxe! SOOOOO disappointing.
